Why Meatball?
There’s a rarely used flag in Formula 1 used to alert a driver to return to the pits because their car is in unsafe condition (usually damage from a crash). It’s black with an orange circle and nicknamed the “meatball flag.” It’s probably the most playful title in a sport that takes itself pretty seriously. Since I’m just doing this for fun, the name felt appropriate.
