This job is so weird...

…but I like weird

I’m convinced I’ve progressed in this career through sheer ignorance. After working at a couple small regional shops, I was interviewing in Minneapolis when a recruiter asked if I was a designer or an art director.

I didn’t know the difference.

It was embarrassing but I’ve realized the lines will always be blurred for me. I just like solving problems. Sometimes I set the vision. Sometimes I design things. Sometimes I write things. Really, the only constant is that I surround myself with people who like to solve problems, too.
